About the Role
We are looking for a full-time Professional Services Consultant. This role is ideal for someone who is highly organized, detail-oriented, and passionate about helping our clients succeed while also driving the company’s growth.
Key Responsibilities
Client Services & Operations (50%)
Deliver professional services to clients based on their needs.
Manage client relationships, ensuring high levels of satisfaction and engagement.
Track and manage client accounts, deliverables, and timelines.
Maintain and update internal client records.
Optimize internal processes to improve efficiency and enhance service delivery.
Business Development & Growth (50%)
Develop strategic partnerships with organizations, universities, and industry professionals to expand FobbyHelp’s reach.
Manage and grow social media accounts, ensuring consistent branding and engagement.
Identify new business opportunities to support the company’s expansion.
Qualifications
Bachelor’s degree in Business, Engineering, or a related field
Fluent in English and Mandarin Chinese (written and verbal)
Familiarity with LinkedIn, U.S. job application platforms (LinkedIn Jobs, Indeed, etc.), and U.S. job searching processes – Helps streamline client services and job search strategies.
Experience with social media management, digital ads, SEO, content creation, or online community engagement.
Excellent organizational and multitasking skills – Ability to manage multiple client accounts, social media, and partnerships simultaneously.
Strong attention to detail – Ensuring accuracy in client records, job applications, and social media content.
Effective communication and interpersonal skills – Ability to engage with clients, partners, and internal teams professionally.
Problem-solving mindset and adaptability – Comfortable working in a dynamic startup environment and finding solutions to challenges proactively.
Self-motivated and proactive – Takes initiative, works independently, and follows through on tasks without constant supervision.
Basic proficiency in Google Suite (Docs, Sheets, Slides) – Useful for documentation, reports, and presentations.
Preferred Qualifications (Nice to Have, But Not Required)
Bachelor’s or advanced degree from a U.S. university in Business, Engineering, or a related field – Familiarity with the U.S. education system and job market.
Previous work or internship experience in the U.S.
Experience in human resources or career consulting.
Prior experience in a startup, consulting firm, or client-facing role – Demonstrates adaptability and problem-solving in fast-paced environments.
Ability to analyze data and create reports – Supports decision-making and process optimization.
Experience in event planning or partnership outreach – Enhances business development efforts.

About the Role
